Air King Introduces Essence ENERGY STAR® Qualified Under Cabinet Range Hoods.

WEST CHESTER, Pa.—March 2013—Air King’s new Essence™ range hoods are now available. The Essence range hood [EB30 series and EB36 series] provides a much needed energy efficient solution in the marketplace for under cabinet kitchen ventilation.

The EB series is available in white, black, and stainless steel finishes in widths of 30 and 36 inches. At an operating speed of 150 CFM, the range hood’s sound level is less than a quiet running refrigerator but still delivers enough ventilation for typical cooking. For times when additional ventilation is required the high speed of 250 CFM can handle the task.

Also featured on these hoods are easily removable aluminum grease filters to capture grease and debris. The included 18-watt, high efficacy fluorescent lamps provide nearly as much light as a 150-watt incandescent bulb. These lights are located at the front of the hood for maximum cook top illumination.
